Maria Hansen

Maria has over 25 years experience in both investigation and mediation. She has worked with people from a huge range of industries, including academics, builders, community groups, engineers, farmers, government employees, hospitality, and insurance. Maria has worked in almost every industry you can name, from across a wide range of institutions and community situations, with substantial knowledge of discrimination law, insurance and many others.

Maria started her mediation training with LEADR (now Resolution Institute) in the 1990s, then completed the three year Diploma in Business, specialising in mediation from Massey University. She is on the AMINZ panel of mediators. Maria is comfortable in a Tikanga Maori process and speaks a little conversational Te Reo Maori.
